Launching a Thanksgiving event to support the Cleveland community, featuring four designated locations. Local Legend and partners will make brief stops at each location to drop off turkeys, serve meals,  interact with attendees, and engage with the community. While special guests won’t stay for the entire program, each stop will include additional food and activities for attendees. We aim to showcase Local Legend and Molina’s commitment to making a tangible impact in the lives of Cleveland youth.

This event will feature sports legends like Cardale Jones, Browns and/or Cavs players and community organizations. By providing opportunities for attendees to connect with public figures, gain direct knowledge, and raise awareness around CareSource’s mission of transforming lives through innovative health and life services; we aim to showcase Local Legend and CareSource’s commitment to making a tangible impact in the lives of Cleveland youth.

An unforgettable event designed to connect our local professional athletes and public figures to youth in the community. It will be an entertaining, substantial and unique experience that represents the great community they are a part of.

Varsity House and Local Legend founder Shaun Crawford organized a free youth football camp that was held at Cleveland State University in June 2023.

The camp featured Cleveland Browns players, Ohio Buckeyes players, and NFL players from Ohio to help coach and mentor kids who took part in the event.

Cleveland Mayor Justin Bibb showed up to the camp to support Varsity House and Local Legend’s efforts.
