Varsity House and Local Legend founder Shaun Crawford organized a free youth football camp that was held at Cleveland State University in June 2023.

The camp featured Notre Dame and Ohio football players, Cleveland Browns players and NFL players from Ohio to help coach and mentor kids who took part in the event.

Cleveland Mayor Justin Bibb showed up to the camp to support Varsity House and Local Legend’s efforts.

The inaugural camp reached capacity, but Crawford said The Varsity House Local Legends Camp plans to continue the free event in the future, allowing more youth to participate.
