CLEVELAND — Varsity House and Local Legend founder Shaun Crawford organized a free youth football camp held at Cleveland State University.

The camp featured Cleveland Browns players, Ohio Buckeyes players, and NFL players from Ohio to help coach and mentor kids who took part in the event.

The inaugural camp reached capacity, but Crawford said The Varsity House Local Legends Camp plans to continue the free event in the future, allowing more youth to participate.

“Shaun Crawford is an amazing leader in Cleveland,” Bibb said. “I wanted to come out and show my support and love for all he’s doing to empower young people all across the city.”

Bibb and Browns legend Bernie Kosar were guest speakers at the camp, while former Browns kicker Cade York, running back Demetric Felton, and offensive tackle Tyrone Wheatley Jr. helped with skills drills.

Cleveland native and Saints linebacker Andrew Dowell, as well as former Buckeye Doran Grant, were also in attendance.

The event was part of The Local Legend Foundation’s L.I.T. programming.
